Shrek is the main character of a few animated films. Shrek is a green ogre with  funny ears, brown eyes, a wide flat nose and a big mouth. In the first part of the series he wears a white long-sleeved shirt, a brown mini vest, brown pants and dark leather boots.

Shrek is very strong and fit, able to walk for many miles without getting tired. He is a very good hunter and cook. He is clever and good-humoured.

At first Shrek lived in a wooden house near a swamp in the middle of the forest. He scared people but never hurt them. Then he met a talking Donkey who later became Shrek's companion in his adventures.

Shrek rescued the Princess Fiona who was kept in the tower guarded by a fire-breathing dragon. Later in the story she turned out to be an ogre too and then she became Shrek's wife and they had three children, the triplets.
