where is Alice Springs?

a city in the South of the Northern territory of Australia. The population in 2005 was 26 486 people, making the city the second largest in the region. In Australia, the city often referred to simply as "Alice" (Alice). Aboriginal language the town is known under the name "Mparntwe" (Mparntwe). Alice springs is almost equal distant from the cities to Adelaide in the South and Darwin in the North. West of town there is a hill Libig.
