После союза "if " в условных предложениях будущее время в английском языке не употребляется. Вместо него употребляют настоящее неопределённое время.

If the weather is bad tomorrow we will play chess.

Если погода будет завтра плохая мы будем играть в шахматы

At this time yesterday I  was writing a test.

В это время вчера я писал тест.

If I see Tom again I will tell him everything.

Если я увижу Тома снова я расскажу ему все.

If you help him he will finish his work in time.

Если ты ему поможешь он закончит работу вовремя.
