A short history of mobile phones!

The first fully automatic mobile phone system,called MTA (mobile Telefone system A),was developed by Ericsson.It was commercially released in Sweden in 1956 and at the beginning it had 150 costomers.However ,there was one big disadvantage: the phone weighed 40kg.A "lighter" version, which was prodused in 1965,weighed "only" 9kg.

In the 1970s mobile phones were researched and developed.In 1971 the ARP network was introduced in Finland.It was one of the first truly successful public comercial mobile phone networks.In  1975 mobile phone was patented individually by Motorola.In the late 1980s,the mobile   phone industry started to develop rapidly.

In the 1990s, a new network system GSM became popular, and more and more people started to use mobile phones.In 2003,there were about 1.52 billion mobile phone users around the world.
