He spoke French well because he lived in France. - Он говорил по-французски хорошо, потому что жил во Франции.

We went to her house and watched a DVD. - Мы пошли к ней домой и смотрели DVD.

I walked to the shops and bought a bottle of milk. - Я ходил в магазины и покупал бутылку молока. (глупое предложение)

They hated the town so they came home. - Они ненавидели город и поэтому пришли домой.

She stopped running and caught the bus. - Она перестала бежать и вошла в автобус.
