Использовать глагол в принципе предложение в прошедшем времени и сделать все необходимые изменения (проще говоря надо из прямой речи перевести в косвенную):

1. My friends says he works only three days a week.

2. He thinks his parents are sleeping.

3. Kate says she has been to Britain several times.

4. She writes they moved into the new flat a month ago.
