I would like to tell you about a wonderful holiday which is called Maslenitsa. It is celebrated on the last Sunday of March, when winter is giving its rights to spring. On this day different Russia's great folk festivals with horse riding take place in many cities, towns and villages. There are a lot of  jokes, songs and dances just in the streets. Everybody is offered some hot tea and Russian pancakes with different toppings: honey, jam, butter, caviar! But the most important thing is the burning of the effigy of winter and meeting of beautiful spring.
