И вообще, слова early и quickly могут образовывать степени сравнения и так и так,оба варианта правильные.

I quite agree with you that grammar rules should be learnt properly. But I think you are mistaken with the adverbs early and quickly. "Quicklier" is not a valid word. It refers to literary terms and is used very seldom. QUICKER and MORE QUICKLY are used in the comparative form. Will be glad to know your point of view.
