If I had the opportunity to go for an exchange study abroad I certainly wouldn't miss it. I think it's very interesting. I like to travel very much, but I have never been to another country yet, so I would really want to get acquaintances abroad, to learn their traditions, their values, their customs and characters. Also, having gone to study abroad, I would meet a lot of new people and find new friends. I would like to compare their education with ours. At least I would see the nature of those lands. I've always been very interested in learning ways of living in other countries, so I would gladly go for an exchange study.

...and character(во множественном числе обычно используется в значении-персонажи, герои, так что лучше будет в единственном)
