On p. 11 there are some children's stories about their summer holiday

1) I rode my bike and did other things with my friends: we played football and basketball and watched a lot of exciting films. I was never bored. I don't want to go back to school.    (Jack)2) Two weeks ago I went on a trip to the river with my family. I fished and swam in the river. I had a lot of fun.    (William)3) I visited my grandparents on the farm and saw my cousins, aunts and uncles there. I helped my grandpa in the garden. But l didn't like the weather.
