He (to tell) Mr. Wallis that he (to pay) him for the cat if Mr. Wallis (not to tell) the police about it and if he never (to come) to the shop again.

    “ How much (to cost) it now?” he (to ask). “ Seven hundred pounds,” (to answer) Mr. Wallis, “because I (to want) to get some interest on my money.”
