Today is Februry 16. Everybody at school (1)... about the big Valentine's Day Dance that (2)... up next week. This is the first year at my school a dance actually (3)..., so everyone is all excited. Before Valentine's Day I was up latte (4)... Valentine's cards for everyone in my class. Then I (5)... a great idea: instead of saying things I (6)..., I told everyone what I (7)... of them. The tick was, I (8)... my name on any of the cards (9)... to our teacher, Mrs Riser. She went around the room (10)... to understand who (11)... them. I knew it (12)... . Some of my cards (were given) to our teacher, Mrs Riser. She went around the room (trying) to understand who (had sent) them. I knew it (would happen). That's why I (had made) a card for myself too.
