Думая, что это солнце, она идёт на свет этого неизвестного ей явления. Там Гип встречает Малого и впервые видит огонь. Гип считает, что это солнце и не подпускает его к свету. И Малой объясняет, что это огонь и рассказывает ей про страшный конец света и предлагает ей идти с ним. Но пропажу Гип замечает Груг и наказывает её.
