Dear Sirs,I am scheduled to start working for you on Friday.  I am excited and ready to begin, however there is a problem.  A family emergency has happened, and i must go out of town for the next two weeks.  Grandfather has taken a fall and is now in the hospital with broken bones and is in very bad shape. Grandfather is not expected to survive long, so we must go to be with him and the rest of the family.  Grandfather is the strong leader of our large family and so there will be many family meetings after the long trip to Siberia.  Please accept my apologies for being unable to start work on time.  Could we please change the date for starting at this new position to two weeks later?  I appreciate your understanding for this difficult situation.  I look forward to working with you when i return!Sincerely,xxxxxxxx

Это не письмо-жалоба,а письмо-извещение т.к человек не может выйти на роботу и объясняет почему.Dear Mr.Rickard,I appologize for emailing you so late.I want to inform you that unfortunately,I will not be able to come on time this Friday.The reason for my lateness is contingency. I have just found out that my grandmother has died today.She used to be very important for my family and this is definitely going to be a tough time for all of us. To be honest I do not feel that I can really concentrate on work at the moment.May I please ask you to allow me not to come this Friday as I have to organize funeral service and I need to support relatives,especially my grandfather. I do understand that it  is not a good beginning of my new job on such a responsible position,but I can assure you that I am a very responsible and punctual worker.  If it is possible I would rather stay longer one  day next week complete the work which I will miss on Friday?Thank you for your understanding.Yours faithfully,John Price
