The Kid and the Wolf
A kid lost his way in the wood. In th e middle of the wood he met a big hungry wolf.First the poor kid tried to run better than the kid.When the kid saw that he was going to die,he stopped and said:I know,sir that I can t run away from you and I know that you are going to eat me.There is only one thing I want to ask you:my life will be very short, so please,make it as joyful as it can be.Will you play the pipe for me to dance to your music before I die?I think you are a wonderful musician.The wolf agreed to play some music before his dinner:he thought he was a fine musician and anjoyied perfoming even if his audience was just one little kid.He took out his pipe and began to play and the kid started dancing before him.Very soon some people who were not far away heard the music and came running to see what was going on.They saw the wolf and drove him away.Before running off the wolf turned to the kid and said:I deserve this.My job is to kill but not to perform.Playing music to please you isn t my business at all.
