Помогите исправить грамматические ошибки.

"In the spring I went to Japan. I saw the cherry blossoms and was eating local food. After Japan I visited in Abkhazia. (In Abkhazia very humid climate.) There I swam in the sea and went shopping. Then I went home."
Скорее всего одна из ошибок в предложении в скобках.

In spring (без частицы the)I saw cherry blossoms (без the)I visited Abkhazia (без in)I was swimming in the sea
