School is a very special place. It's a place where you grow up and take courage, make friends and mould your personality. I study in Secondary School No 9 in Daugavpils. It is known for its academic excellence and strict discipline. School is a three-storeyed building of a typical design. In front of the school there is a small garden with beautiful flower-beds. The scool are well-equipped and have all the devices for studying and making experiments in different subject fields. I went to school 5 days a week. Classes began at 8:00 in the morning. We have 8 or 9 lessons every day. the school was usually over at about 3 o'clock. We participated in extracurricular activities. Teachers helped us to develop our critical and creative thinking, to form our views and characters, our attitudes to life and other people. I shall remember them for the rest of my life.
