Помогите перевести, плиз!

When I  was on holiday, I read a lot. I read some fiction and detective stories, short stories and historical novels. In general, I prefer prose to poetry,as poetry seems a little bit boring to me. However, I like limericks very much. They are quite popular in Britain , in   Ireland in particular. A limerick is a kind of humorous little poem. It has only five lines. The first line rhymes with the second ,the third with the fourth , and the last one with the first and the second again.The rhyme of a limerick is like this: AABBA.

I even wrote a limerick myself.

It's about a holiday at the seaside:

Lay in the sun as long as you can

No doubt,you'll get a wonderful tan.

At contests of beauties you'll get the first prize 

And even your doctor will say in surprise 

That he is forever your fan.
