Good morning, this is Ken McKenzie with your Monday weather report. The 1 ) heatwave that slowed everybody down this weekend is here to stay. Today's temperature could climb to a 2) scorching 40°C by early afternoon. Unfortunately, no 3 ) rain is forecast for the next five days. It will, however, become 4 ) windy in the north which is bad news for the forest fires that are raging across this part of the country.
