Moldova's climate is moderately continental. Moldova has long summers, the temperature averages about +20 degrees.  The winters are cold and dry, the the January`s minimum temperature is -10 degrees. Annual rainfall ranges from around 600 millimeters in the north to 400 millimeters in the south It can vary greatly. Long dry spells are not usual, especially in the summer. The coldest month of the year is January, the hottest is August.
