  • Sport is the integral part of our life. Many people devote the whole life to the sport, but some people go in for sports to keep fit and healthy. People began going for sport from ancient times. Archeologists find rock paintings which resemble modern sports. The most popular sport event famous from earlier days was Olympic Games. Even wars were prohibited during the Olympic Games, and the competition winners were esteemed like heros. Sport was developing along with the society. Nowadays there is large number of sports. There are summer and winter sports, team and single, etc. Such variety gives the opportunity to go in for sports in any season.Health is the most precious treasure a man has and it should be preserved and strengthened, and sport helps in it. What about me, twice a week after classes I go to football, during the break my friends and I play ping-pong. In summer I like to go to the river to swim and to play tennis or badminton with my friends. In winter I prefer to skiing and snowboarding. I am doing sports with great pleasure; my mother says that thanks to it I rarely get ill. However the use of sport doesn’t limit with health improvement and nice body. Sport raises the mood, gives stimulus to new achievements and effective work. I advice everybody to devote at least half an hour to the physical training every day and your organism will be thankful to you.
