Nauryz is a holiday of spring and a holiday of approach of New year at many people. Nauryz celebration has pagan roots, it is a celebration of nature worship. Nauryz is celebrated on March 22 on the day of the vernal equinox. On 30 September 2009, Nauryz was included by UNESCO in the Representative list of intangible cultural heritage of humanity along with other 76 elements of intangible heritage from around the world.
