Смотри, есть два типа речи: direct (прямая) и reported (коственная).Пример с Present Simple: I work for shop. ( Это прямая речь) В коственной речи present simple меняется на past simple: Tom said,"he worked for shop.Пример с Present Continuous:I am working on this project.
