Is a child able to take care of a pet at an early age? I strongly believe that kids should have pets not only to enjoy playing with them, but also to gain valuable life skills that can be very essential in the future. I think, therefore, that parents should certainly allow their children to get at least a small animal, such as goldfish or hamster, to love and care for.
