Если слово в единственном числе, то мы ставим is, если множественное are. Например : Is there a bookshop? No, there isn't. (у множественного числа в словах окончание s)

Is there any park? Yes, there is.

Are there a cars? Yes, there are.

Are there a teachers? Yes, there are.

Is there any school? No, there isn't.

Are there a houses? No, there aren't
