    A. They live in Africa and India mostly. These are the world’s largest land animals. Adults
    can weigh as much as six tons. They drink more than 100 litres of water each day. The
    animals have got big ears and a long trunk which they use like hands to pick up things.
    B. Compared to other animals, they are very intelligent. They live in the sea and are very
    fast-moving. They are very friendly with people. They often jump out of the water and
    enter the water again gracefully. They communicate with each other by clicking, whistling
    and other sounds.
    C. They have long bodies, long tails and rather short legs. The tail is good to keep balance
    when climbing. The animals are green or light grey. They mostly like eating plants
    including leaves and fruit. They have very sharp teeth to help them eat up leaves and
    plants.
    D. They are very different. Most of them have tails. Some of them live on the ground while
    others live in trees. They eat a variety of foods, such as fruit, insects, flowers and leaves.
    But lots of people believe bananas are their favourite fruit.
    E.
    They are a very common pet worldwide. They have short tails, small ears and big cheeks
    where they can keep seeds, nuts and fruit until they can store them somewhere. They
    usually sleep during the day and are awake and active during the dark hours of the night.
