You have decided with your friends to write about this plan to the major newspapers published in your city/region. Write a letter to the editor of an English language newspaper in which you:

explain why a supermarket should not be built in your area
give your reasons why a sports centre would serve your city/region well

I am writing this letter because I want to express my opinion regarding a new supermarket not far from my school. It is obvious, that sport is mostly important to people than a supermarket. Sport is very important in our life. We often spend much time after school doing physical exercises or playing football. I think sport is popular among both teenagers and adults because it helps them to keep fit and be healthy. To my mind, a supermarket should not be built in this area because it is not economically justified. A sport centre will give an opportunity to hold different competitions. It will be more useful for people of our city.
