Steve: Hello, Mary. How are you?

Mary: Hi, Steve. I am fine. And you?

Steve: I am fine, too.

Mary: What’s news?

Steve: As you remember, I bought a new house last month, but I decided to change some things last week, so I went to the shopping centre and took some items for my house.

Mary: What did you buy?

Steve: I bought a sofa, pillows, a table for my living room and a lamp for my bedroom.

Mary: It’s wonderful. What sofa did you take?

Steve: I took a big flowery velvet sofa. It looks cool.

Mary: What about your pillows?

Steve: They are square white plain.

Mary: I think they are perfect. But why did you buy a table?

Steve: My table was old and I wanted to change it. I am glad that I found a big new round table for my living room.

Mary: Fantastic! And what type of lamp did you buy?

Steve: I decided to buy a small polka-dot plastic lamp. It is modern and gives a lot of light.

Mary: Oh, it’s great.

Steve: What about you? Did you buy anything last week?

Mary: I bought some new clothes.

Steve: What clothes did you take?

Mary: I took a small checked cotton dress, a checked woollen jacket and plain cotton trousers.

Steve: So many things!

Mary: Yes, I like clothes and I try to buy something new every season.

Steve: Great! Mary, next week I will have a party in my new house. I would like to invite you. Will you come?

Mary: Thank you for your invitation. I will come.

Steve: I will call you tomorrow and say the exact day and time.

Mary: Ok. Bye.

Steve: Bye.
