Kreshchatic is the central street of the capital.

There are many historical places. Among the Pecherska Lavra, the Golden Gate, the St. Sophia, the monument to Prince Volodymyr, to Bohdan Khmelnitsky.

Today Kyiv is a real centre of national Ukrainian renaissance.
