A Holiday Nightmare

A year ago my friend Clive and I decided to go on a holiday to the Bahamas. After landing in Nassau, we realized that everything was much more expensive than we had anticipated. Nevertheless, we proceeded with our plan to travel to Little Inagua on the Siren, a beautiful yacht.

As we stepped on deck, I doubted that we had made the right decision. But it was too late to turn back. The sun was shining brightly that day as we set out on our journey. We had been traveling for about an hour when the men on board started to get restless.

A storm was approaching very quickly, and soon the waves were crashing over the deck. Suddenly I heard a shout from below. The engine room was flooded, and the engine stopped! I started to panic. Clive looked for life jackets, but he was told that there were none. Our panic turned to fear.

Fortunately, after a few minutes, the engine started again. The captain guided us through hours of stormy weather before we finally reached the calm harbor at Little Inagua. There, as we got off the Siren, I promised myself that whatever the price, I would definitely fly back to Nassau.
