4. My dog (attack) the delivery man as he (take out) my purchases from his van. The man (thrust) a large package into the dog's mouth and of course he (tear) it. Unfortunately the package (contain)
my new jacket. I (patch) the jacket up, but it still looks a bit odd.
5. How you (break) your leg? – I (fall) off a ladder at the book-store when I (try)
to get the book from the upper shelf. The worst of it (be) that it (be) just
