Write an opinion essay on one of the following statements.
7. Some young people believe that while at school we should concentrate on studying,
others think that working part-time has many advantages.
2. Reading fiction is becoming less and less important for teenagers.
What is your opinion? Do you agree with this statement? Write no less than 150
words. Use the following plan:
- make an introduction (state the problem)
- express your personal opinion and give reasons for your opinion
- express an opposing opinion and give reasons for this opposing opinion
- make a conclusion restating your position​

Almost every person has something in life connected with a book. It accompanies us everywhere - from the first letters, and ending with the whole life. In the first grade, children get acquainted with the primer. It becomes a reference book for them and a true friend. With each period of growing up, the number of friends increases. With every year of existence.

It's hard to imagine your life without books. She teaches, entertains, involves in a new unknown world. During reading, everything external fades into the background, becomes unsteady, elusive and insignificant. Of course, everyone has their own tastes and aspirations. Someone loves the classics, someone loves detective stories, mysticism or women's novels. There are a great many genres, and each age has its own category.

Books are great as friends in that they don't require their reader to be cheerful, sad, or outgoing, as social ties require. No, you can forget about it. Pick up your favorite book and indulge in reading in the mood you have. A cheerful story can cheer you up, a sad story can make you feel it and cry, something romantic and light can send you to unprecedented dreams. You can completely surrender to yourself and the plot, not being distracted by anyone, not in a hurry, and enjoying the process.

For any individual person, his range of interests is of paramount importance. Absolutely identical personalities simply do not exist. It often happens that ordinary communication is not available to a person. But he can read books as much as he likes, delve into their deep meaning and plot. It is interesting, fascinating, bewitching and makes you think about the eternal. Therefore, do not forget that every house has a whole collection of faithful reliable friends on the shelf!
