The park covers an area of approximately 840,000 square meters and is one of the largest green spaces in the city.The park was designed in the early 20th century by landscape architect Pietro Porcinai and was officially opened to the public in 1955. It features a large lake, several walking and cycling paths, sports facilities, picnic areas, and a variety of trees and plants.
