Hello, my name is Anne and I'm from Potsdam, a town in Germany. So I'm German and I can speak German and English. I'm in class 6 now. My favourite subjects are Music and PE, but I don't like Mathematics very much. I am good at languages. My favourite teacher is Mr Stone because he is very nice and funny. Let me tell you a bit about my family. I've got a mum. Her name is Susan and she is 35 years old. Of course, I've got a dad, too, but he doesn't live with us because my parents are divorced. At first this was very difficult for me, but now it's okay. I can see my dad every weekend and his new wife isn't that bad. They live in a very big and beautiful house about 15 kilometres away from our home. So I always ride my bike when I want to visit them or my dad drives us there. But let's come back to my family. I also have a little brother. His name is Tom. He's only 5 years old and doesn't go to school yet. Sometimes he's terrible when mum isn't at home and I have to look after him, but he is usually nice and I love him, of course. My grandparents live near Rostock on the Baltic Sea. In summer we often visit them. I can go swimming there, ride my bike and play with some other kids. When I am at my grand- parents' I can also watch a lot of TV and I don't have to go to bed so early. But I can't play computer games because my grandparents haven't got a computer. So I play with Toby. That's my grandpa's dog and we often go for a walk with him. And my mum? I think she is quite strict with me, but always fair. I can tell her everything and she often helps me - not only with my homework but also when I have a problem. She is the best mum in the world! We live in a block of flats. A family with three children (Kathy, Kevin and Chris) lives next door. Kathy is my best friend. Every day we go to school together and we often play in the afternoon or at weekends and have a lot of fun. Our hobbies are singing and dancing and later we want to start a band.
