I recently had the incredible opportunity to embark on an exchange trip to the Netherlands, where I stayed for two exhilarating weeks. Nestled in the heart of Dutch culture, I was hosted by a warm and welcoming family in the picturesque city of Amsterdam.During my stay, I was fortunate to experience a myriad of activities that truly immersed me in Dutch life. From cycling along the iconic canals to exploring quaint villages, every moment was filled with adventure. My hosts graciously introduced me to their favorite pastimes, including picnics in lush parks and sampling traditional Dutch delicacies at bustling markets.One aspect that stood out to me was the vibrant social scene among Dutch students. In their free time, they often gathered to play sports like football or enjoy leisurely bike rides. Music festivals and cultural events were also popular choices, providing a glimpse into the rich tapestry of Dutch traditions.Reflecting on my experience, I wholeheartedly believe that exchange trips offer invaluable opportunities for personal growth and cultural exchange.
