My favourite Belarusian singer

I like listening to music. I spend quite a lot of time listening to it. Usually I listen to new songs that are played by the radio stations, but sometimes I am in the mood to listen to my favourite performers. My favourite Belarusian singer is Max Korzh.

Max is twenty-nine. He was born in Luninets, a town in Brest Region, in 1988. In his childhood Max attended musical school and after leaving his secondary school he entered Belarusian State University. But in his third year he dropped out of university and went to serve in the army. Meanwhile his first song “Heaven Help Us” (“Небо поможет нам”) became Internet-famous and that was just the beginning. In 2012 his first album, "Animal World" ("Животный мир"), was released. Since that time Korzh has recorded five albums and had more than 20 music videos released. Max has already received several music awards.

In my opinion, Max is the most popular Belarusian rap/hip-hop singer at the moment. We, teenagers, like his songs because he sings about problems that are important to us, about family, friendship, motivation in life and he finds simple words to describe these problems.
