Lion: Why do you want to help me? Are you afraid of me?
Mouse: Oh ho no! I'm just your friend.

The Lion asked what was going on and who was there.

The Mouse asked if the Lion saw her. Then the Lion asked her who she was.

The Mouse said she was his friend. She offered her help.

The Lion asked how she would do it.

The Mouse told him not to worry. She said she could gnaw the net.

The Lion wondered why she wanted to help him and whether she was afraid of him.

The Mouse said she wasn't afraid of him because she was his friend.
