The name of the celebration in my country that I want to write about is called International Women's Day. It is held on the 8th of March. In different regions the focus of the celebrations ranges from general celebration of respect, appreciation and love towards women to a celebration for women's economic, political and social achievements. On this day women receive presents, chocolate, and flowers.
