Nowadays, computers have made our lives simpler and more entertaining. However, the misuse of them can be dangerous to the society.On the positive side, they are good tools for jobs. Due to they have different applications for use them as complements in our professions. In addition to this. Using the internet we can communicate each other and access to information faster. Another advantage is that almost the whole world has access to them.On the negative side, we have to much access to negative information where children can watch forbidden videos. Besides this, there are hackers who use information, damaging big companies and sometimes normal people. Another disadvantage is that people spend too much time in front of computer screens. Wich can contract too many sicknesses, stress, muscular pains, fatigue, visual illnesses, etc. Furthermore, they don’t develop the affective and social side.Finally, computers have been a great progress for this time, but we have to know how and when use them properly.

  We live in the age of information technology and nowadays the Internet is nearly as common as the telephone. No doubt that it is a unique invention, which has influenced all areas of our lives. However, some people consider the Internet one of the greatest evils of our time.

  On the one hand, the Internet is very useful, because it lets us access a world of facts, figures and knowledge. In addition, with the Internet, it is now possible to speak to friends and relatives anywhere in the world cheaply and quickly. Other services are also available through the Internet such as booking tickets or buying things. Moreover, the Internet allows a lot of talented people to show the world their achievements and makes it easier to find a job.

  On the other hand, the Internet can become a disaster for our society, because people spend hours in front of their computers and neglect their everyday duties. Another worry is the activities of cybercriminals. For example, hackers can steal your money or even your property while cyberterrorists may ‘attack’ the world’s computers, causing chaos, and making planes and trains crash. What is more, leaders of different terrorist or oppositional organizations can use the Internet to find new followers.  

  In conclusion, I strongly believe that despite the criticisms by some and fears of others, the Internet seems to have changed our world to the better and we must try to make the best use of it.

Интернет, без сомнения, является одним из самых важных изобретений в истории. Но действительно ли это так хорошо, как кажется?

  Мы живем в век информационных технологий, и в настоящее время интернет почти так же распространен, как и телефон. Несомненно, это уникальное изобретение, которое повлияло на все сферы нашей жизни. Однако некоторые люди считают Интернет одним из величайших зол нашего времени.

  С одной стороны, интернет очень полезен, потому что он позволяет нам получить доступ к миру фактов, цифр и знаний. Кроме того, с помощью интернета теперь можно дешево и быстро разговаривать с друзьями и родственниками в любой точке мира. Другие услуги также доступны через Интернет, такие как бронирование билетов или покупка вещей. Более того, Интернет позволяет многим талантливым людям показать миру свои достижения и облегчает поиск работы.

  С другой стороны, Интернет может стать катастрофой для нашего общества, потому что люди часами сидят за компьютерами и пренебрегают своими повседневными обязанностями. Другое беспокойство вызывает деятельность киберпреступников. Например, хакеры могут украсть ваши деньги или даже вашу собственность, в то время как кибертеррористы могут "атаковать" компьютеры мира, вызывая хаос и заставляя самолеты и поезда разбиваться. Более того, лидеры различных террористических или оппозиционных организаций могут использовать Интернет для поиска новых последователей.

  В заключение я хотел бы сказать, что, несмотря на критику со стороны одних и страхи со стороны других, интернет, явно изменил наш мир к лучшему, и мы должны стараться использовать его наилучшим образом.
