Это был уединенный дом, в котором давно никто не жил. Он стоял прелестном и большом саду.
Придя в деревню мужчина отыскал хозяина маленькой гостиницы и спросил есть ли в доме привидения.
Юноша Айки, которого позвал трактирщик рассказал, что в доме видели женщину в плаще с совой. Люди говорили, что ее убили там.
Хотя герой почтительно относился ко всем тайнам, он сомневался в дурной славе дома. Он уже жил в подобном месте.
Пытаясь переубедить трактирщика в том, что призраки существуют , мужчина потерпел провал. Это вызвало у него еще больший интерес к дому.
