Where I would like to live

I love my country and I cannot imagine leaving it forever, but I would like to live in other countries for a few years. I think it will be a great experience for me. The place that I would choose in the first place is Ireland.

I would like to live in Dublin, but I would travel around the country every weekend. It won’t be difficult to criss-cross the country, taking into account the small size of the island. I want to see its breathtaking scenery — green hills and valleys with lots of farms and romantic, old and carefully restored castles. There are so many places there with fascinating history and architecture that look straight out of a fairytale. I enjoy hiking and cycling and I would be happy to explore this beautiful country whenever possible. I know that the Irish often complain about the weather but I also know that their winters are not very cold and the summers are never too hot. Another reason for my choice is connected with education. It would be great if I could study in Dublin’s Trinity College, one of the most prestigious universities in Europe. The third reason is that Ireland is one of the friendliest countries in Europe. The Irish are known for their hospitality and a great sense of humour. I have always liked listening to Irish traditional music and I’d like to take up Irish dancing. I could even try to learn the Irish language.

I know that the Emerald Isle (as they call Ireland) attracts millions of tourists but I want to see more than a tourist.
