Throw away things without even thinking of repairing them. Trousers are easy to mend or can be made into shorts that look nice on most people. Pliers that are broken or scissors that are blunt can be fixed or sharpened. Clothes are expensive and household goods always prove useful so why are these belongings often thrown away? Intelligence is not really needed, just common sense.
