My earliest memories are of my mother. I remember we walked (Past Simple) in the park, were eating (Past Continuous) an ice cream, candies. One day my father was working ( Past Continuous) in the garden and when I asked (Past Simple) him what he was doing (Past Continuous), he told (Past Simple) that he was looking (Past Continuous) for hidden treasures. I started (Past Simple) to help him and after a while I had found (Past Perfect) a box full of candies. Smiles, fairy tales, a good mood, a lot of toys, sweets - that\'s what childhood means for me. I remember how the whole family had waited (Past Perfect) for New Year, birthdays. Of course, the childhood associates with gifts. Some of them I keep still, because they are dear for me as a memory of fun and happy days. Sometimes when I have a melancholy mood, I, as often happened (Past Simple) when I was (Past Simple) small, begin to lay out my favorite toys, and talk to them. Maybe to someone it seems strange, but the memories of something good always make us happy.
