They look like horses with hump .They are known for their endurance and patience so they can travel long distances without much water and food. They are widely used in caravans through the desert. They were domisticated by people more than 10000 years ago. Camels are also used for their fur, milk and meat. There are around 14 million camels in the world now. The largest population is in Australia. It is around 700000.
