There are more than two hundred countries in the world. Countries are situated on continents. All countries are different. However, countries on same continent may have similar cultures as they are located close to each other and share same climatic conditions. People of different countries speak different languages. Nevertheless, people in different countries may speak same language or even several languages. All countries have borders. Normally you would need a special document called “visa” in order to cross the border of a foreign country. All countries have their own flag, capital city and currency. The school subject which tells about countries is called – geography.
