Ecological problems of Kazakhstan

In most regions of Kazakhstan, the ecological situation is not only negative, but disastrous.The main sources of the environmental pollution are industry, agriculture, road transport and other anthropogenic factors. Nuclear tests, conducted over 40 years on the Semipalatinsk nuclear testing ground, caused irreparable damage to human health and the environment.One of the most important activities for the protection of nature is the creation of specially protected territories: nature reserves, game reserves, national parks and natural monuments.
