The best-known White Lady of the Czech Republic is the ghost of Perchta of Rozmberk at Rozmberk Castle. Perchta was a daughter of an important Czech nobleman. She married another nobleman, Jan. The marriage was quite unhappy. Jan didn\'t love Perchta and treated her in the worst way. Perchta wrote many letters to her father and brothers with description of her unhappy family life but no one could help her. When her husband was dying, he asked for her forgiveness for his treatment of her. Perchta refused, and her husband cursed her. Her soul had no peace. Because of that her ghost is wandering around Rozmberk Castle.
