Рассказ на английском языке о коале

     Koalas are marsupial, herbivorous animals, their appearance reminds of the small bears` appearance. Nowadays koalas live only in Australia, and they are considered to be the symbol of this country.

     Koalas like to sleep on trees very much. They spend approximately twenty hours per day on sleeping. They become active mainly at night, when the time to eat comes. These animals feed on eucalyptus sprouts and leaves.

     Koalas are extremely helpless and harmless. They can neither attack, nor defend themselves. Thus, they need people`s protection a lot.
