My favourite English writer is Somerset Maugham. I have read a lot of short stories which were written after him. \"Red\", \"Casual Affair\", \"The Lion\'s Skin\",The Happy Man\" and others are very interesting stories. The author\'s language is simple and rich with colourful stylistic devices. Somerset Maugham is one of the popular writers and he is best known all over the world as the master of short stories and dramatic novels. I am fond of reading Somerset Maugham\'s books with great pleasure.
