Надо переделать в косвенную речь Bob: We had a grammar class yesterday. We discussed the use of articles in English.

Bob said that his classmates and him had had a grammar class the day before. And he added that they had discussed the use of articles in English.

Vera was not surprised about that and said the articles were the shortest and yet the most difficult words in English.

Bob doubted that all English people understood how they should use articles.

Vera answered that she did not understand how to use articles either and added that they were  a complete mystery for her. She asked Bob if one could realise the difference between the articles and whether it was possible to learn how to use them.

Bob was not quite sure and said that their teacher told them it was possible and added they should simply had more grammar drills.

Vera asked whether they would really help and complained how boring they [the exercises] were.

Bob told her not to lose hope and cheered her up.
